Finding a creative corner of the Cotswolds

I was quoted in this week’s edition of Country Life in Arabella Youen’s piece about artistic buyers continuing to flock to the Cotswolds. She points out that its legacy as an artistic hub continues with huge proportion of  the ‘media crowd’, as well as a number of contemporary creatives choosing to own property there.

In the article I draw attention to the lesser known Slad valley area which is a personal favorite of mine. It is a fabulous, unspoiled area and remains a haven for artists, writers and poets as, whilst offering good transport and amenities, it is notably more rural than the very fashionable North Cotswolds.

The peace and quiet also provides the benefit of being more affordable with properties in the area being 10% – 15% cheaper than those around Chipping Norton.
