Jess is quoted in Mansion Global today in their opinion piece about the appointment of Andy Burnham as PM.

Taxation is likely to be the policy that impacts the property market and there is a huge amount of speculation as to what that might look like. Burnham has criticised Stamp Duty in the past and mooted a possible Land Tax. It is likely that the wider Prime market may pause until the situation becomes clear whist the Super Prime market will continue to perform as normal under the current tax regime.
